| 38 Rimfire; very good bore, very good grips, 3.5'' barrel, Manufactured c.1873-1880. These revolvers were made from newly manufactured barrels for this model, earlier production used some 1849 pocket model parts. Factory nickel finish with fired blued small parts. Csehardened hammer. Varnish finished walnut grip. Nickel plated brass backstrap and trigger guard. Matching serial numbers. Cylinder retains near 100% of the stagecoach scene. 5-shot cylinder. No loading gate. Most finish loss is on the brass plated parts. Small dings on the right side of the barrel around the wedge. Few light scratches. Grips retain most of the varnish finish. The action functions well and the bore is bright and clean. Antique., s/n 3161xx |
