| 38 Special; 30% blue, good bore, good grips, 5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1917. Heavily worn original blued finish an checkered walnut grips with silver inlaid Colt medallions. Fixed half moon front sight, grooved topstrap. Marked on the left side of the barrel "COLT ARMY/SPECIAL 38". Marked on top of the barrel with the Colt's address and patent dates 1884, 1900, 1901 and 1905 in two lines. Matching serial number cylinder yoke. Revolver shows wear but is mechanically fine. Bore and chambers have some light corrosion., s/n 4237xx |
