| 38-40 Winchester; 97% blue, fair bore, good grips, 7.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1902. Older restoration, blued finish with casehardened frame. Original checkered hard rubber grips. Matching numbers. Fixed sights. Single line Colt's address stamped on top of the barrel. Left side of the barrel is marked "(BISLEY MODEL) 38 W.C.F.". The left side of the frame is stamped with the circled Rampant Colt and with patent dates 1871 and 1875 in two lines. Cylinder has a light turn line and scratches. Clear and legible markings. Mechanically fine. The grips have some wear and smoothing on the checkering. Bore has corrosion/pitting throughout. Antique., s/n 2225xx |
