| 38 Special; very good bore, excellent grips, 4'' barrel, Manufactured c.1943. Mostly gray gun with traces of finish here and there. Newer replacement checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Legible markings with the two line Colt's address and patent dates on top of the barrel. Rampant Colt located on the left rear frame. The Commando revolvers were destined for various military services and normally had a parkerized finish. Traces of that finish is inside the trigger guard. Alos has traces of bluing so may have been refinished at some point. Mechanically fine., s/n 479xx |
