| 44-40 Win; 50% blue, good bore, good grips, 5 3/8'' barrel, Manufactured in 1889. Original blue finish and checkered hard rubber grips. Stamped on top of the barrel with the Colt's address in a single line, and on the left side of the barrel "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER". Caliber designation "44 CAL" stamped on the left side of the trigger guard. Lanyard ring on the butt of the grip. The metal has some light surface spotting mainly on the cylinder. Grip straps worn mostly gray. Thin finish on the barrel. Small dent on the side of the ejector housing, does not interfere with the ejector. Barrels muzzle appears to have been recrowned. Mechanically fine. Antique, s/n 234xx |
