| 45 ACP; very good bore, good grips, 5'' barrel, CMP Service Grade M1911A1. Made in 1943, shipped to Springfield Armory in April 1944. Correct un-numbered Colt slide. Post war Colt replacement barrel with boxed C proof. Milled trigger. Narrow checkered spur hammer. Checkered thumb safety and slide catch. Small ring Keyes Fiber grips, right side paint marked "HQ-B". 8 rib arched mainspring housing. GHD inspector and P firing proof marked on the left side of the frame. CMP included Meggar magazine. CMP hang tag remains attached to the lanyard loop. Parkerized finish is heavily worn. No rust or pitting. Mechanically fine and the bore is bright and strong. Comes in the CMP plastic hard case with certificate, repro tech manual, cable lock and chamber flag, all as received from the CMP., s/n 12017xx |
