| 45 ACP; 90% blue, very good bore, excellent grips, 5.5'' barrel, Manufactured circa WW1 with original blue finish, fitted with Colt factory checkered plastic grips. Standard Colt markings with the two-line Colt's address and patent dates on top of the barrel. Bottom of barrel stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". Butt of grip frame marked "U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1917". Left side of frame is stamped with an eagleshead/S20 proof at the upper rear corner. Lanyard ring on butt of grip. The metal finish shows holster wear on both sides of the barrel muzzle and front corner of the frame. Mechanically fine. Includes a Boyt commerically produced shoulder holster made for these revolvers. In very good condition. C&R/FFL, s/n 1158xx |
