| 45 ACP; 80% blue, good bore, good grips, 5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1917. Original blue finish and checkered walnut double diamond grips. Original fixed sights. Original two-tone finish magazine. Stamped on the left side of the slide with the two-block two-line patent dates and Colt's address, the Rampant Colt logo appearing behind the slide serrations. The right side of the slide is stamped "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 45", the right side of the frame stamped "GOVERNMENT MODEL" over the serial number. All parts correct. Includes the original factory letter stating that the gun was part of a 100 gun shipment sent to J.A. Rickard Company of Schenectady New York in 1917. The metal finish has some edge wear with browning and handling scratches, thinning to patina on the front grip frame strap. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n C978xx |
