| 45 Colt; 92% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 5 1/2'' barrel, ANTIQUE COLT SAA, U.S. MARKED, 1873 MADE IN 1885 AND LATER CONVERTED TO AN ARTILLERY MODEL. THE BLUING SHOWS MOST WEAR ON THE CYLINDER BUT IS VERY GOOD OVERALL. THE FRAME AND HAMMER RETAIN APPROX 94% OF THEIR COLORS. WHEN THESE WERE BEING RECONDITIONED THE NUMBERS WERE OFTEN MISMATCHED. THE FRAME SERIAL #116935 WHILE THE GRIP STRAPS AND TRIGGER GUARD ARE #119387. THE FRAME BEARS THE INSPECTORS STAMP "D.F.C." THE GRIPS BEAR THE INSPECTORS MARK "R.A.C.". THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH VERY GOOD RIFLING. THE SMOOTH ONE PIECE WALNUT GRIPS ARE VERY GOOD. THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONALLY NICE COLT ARTILLERY., s/n 1169xx |
