| 45 Long Colt; 95% blue, good bore, good grips, 4 3/4'' barrel, Manufactured in 1893. Older refinish, Consignor notes state factory engraved, though no engraver's initials were located. Factory quality work. Black powder frame. Polished bone grip fits the frame well. Two line Colt's address on top of the barrel. 1871 and 1875 patent dates in two lines on the left side of the frame. No caliber markings. Serial numbers are matching. Some plumb color on the front sides of the frame and in some corners. Chambers and bore are dull with light corrosion throughout, strong rifling in the bore. Action functions well. Antique., s/n 1500xx |
