| .38 Super; 95% blue, excellent bore, excellent grips, 5'' barrel, COLT SUPER 38 MADE IN 1940. THE PISTOL WAS PROFFESIONALLY RESTORED WITH A NON ORIGINAL BARREL BUSHING AND POSSIBLY A FEW OTHER NON ORIGINAL PARTS. THE BLUING HAS LIGHT MUZZLE WEAR AND THE LETTERING ON THE SLIDE IS STILL SHARP WITH NO EVIDENCE OF BUFFING ON THE SLIDE. THE FRAME WAS POSSIBLY BUFFED DURING THE RESTORATION AS EVIDENCED BY THE SERIAL NUMBER NOT BEING QUITE AS SHARP AS THE SLIDE MARKINGS. THIS IS A VERY NICELY DONE RESTORATION., s/n 348xx |
