| 45 ACP; 20% blue, good bore, fair grips, 5.5'' barrel, COLT U.S.ARMY MODEL 1917 MADE IN 1920 IN FAIR/GOOD CONDITION. THE ACTUAL COLT SERIAL NUMBER IS ON THE FRAME UNDER THE CRANE, THESE ALSO HAVE A GOVERNMENT NUMBER 46674 IN THE BUTT. THE BLUING IS MOSTLY GONE WITH MOST REMAINING ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE BARREL WHICH ALSO BEARS "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH LIGHTLY WORN BUT STILL VERY GOOD RIFLING ALONG WITH A SLIGHT AMMOUNT OF OXIDATION. THE SMOOTH WALNUT GRIPS ARE HEAVILY WORN AND THE LEFT PANEL HAS A SMALL SLIVER OUT OF THE LOWER FRONT OF THE PANEL. THE ACTION IS SMOOTH, TIGHT AND IN TIME., s/n 28001xx |
