| Custom made leather shoulder holster, fits M1911 pistols perfectly. Styled after the U.S. M3 shoulder holster issued during WW2 and likely made during that period, as several GI's prefered to carry M1911A1 pistols in this type holster. The M3 was not standard issue for all troops. These guys were not sitting around watching TV. When they weren't servicing weapons and scrounging for extra ammunition, GI's used their time repairing and personalizing equipment using what materials they could find and put to use. This is a small example of their ingenuity. This holster shows some use but is intact and perfectly serviceable. Priced to sell. |
