| 7X64mm; 70% blue, poor bore, fair stock, 22'' barrel, One of approximately 100,000 1908/34 rifles produced by BRNO for a Brazilian police contract. Re-chambered at some point for 7x64mm. Brazilian crest on top of the receiver. CZ BRNO markings along the left side of the receiver. The right side of the receiver ring is stamped "MOD. 1908/34", and is stamped above "7x64" noting the rechamber to that caliber. The left side of the receiver ring is stamped with the original serial number, over which is an added number "CHE009014". Austrian NPF proofs at the wood line on the left receiver ring and on top of the barrel between the bands. Blued finish with a walnut handguard and stock. Matching numbers except for the proper bolt. Metal finish is worn, with visible pitting along the wood lines. The stock is missing the buttplate and it appears a hole thru the grip area for a side mount sling swivel has been filled with wood filler. The lower band has a mount on the side for and side mount swivel as well, the band assembled backwards. Missing the cleaning rod and pin or screw for the upper band as well as the buttplate. Mechanically fine, the bore is worn and rusty. Our import mark., s/n 24xxH |
