| 6.5 X 53R; 90% blue, good bore, good stock, 17 3/4'' barrel, Dutch carbine given to artillery and anti-aircraft units during WWI. Right side of stock is stamped with a circle with "HEMBRUG 1940" encircling a "W". Left sideof stock has a stamped cirle and what appears to be a "H" inside it. Left side of receiver is stamped "HEMBRUG 1917". Bottom of stock is stamped "9612". The rear sling swivel has been moved rearward and the hole filled per military alteration to a carbine. Numbers matching gun except for butt-plate. Military sights., s/n 96xxPP |
