| 30 Luger; 85% blue, 50% straw, good bore, good grips, 4.75'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and matching number fine checkered walnut grips. Numbered parts are matching. Proper unmarked sheet steel wood bottom magazine in very good condition. DWM monogram on top of toggle, American Eagle motif over the chamber. "GERMANY" export marked across the front of the frame. Original fixed sights. The metal finish shows light sharp edge wear over all, there is some spotting and minor pitting along the edges of the left sideframe and sideplate and right side frame rail and around the toggle housing. Thinning finish on the grip frame straps. The right grip panel has an area of compression, the left grip panel has a chip of wood missing under the safety lever. Mechanically fine and clean internally. The bore has strong rifling, showing frost and soome light pitting throughout. Included is a nice vintage full flap leather holster that consignor notes state has been with the gun for two generations. The holster has a brass stud flap closure, single belt loop on the back. About a 1/2 inch part of the stitching has separated at the upper back edge. C&R/FFL, s/n 83xx, Catalog Number AE-42 |
