| 30 Luger; 90% blue, 50% straw, good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Made for the 1902 field trials, a group s/n85xx were made with the lower safety position marked GESICHERT. A few were overruns and given or sold as gifts commercially with no proofs. Sturgess, Vol I page 88. These were the first trials of the Luger by the German Proving Commission. It has an odd B over P marking in a shield on the right side trigger guard bow. It is cased in a period case with accessories and two extra magazines., s/n 85xx, Catalog Number D-608 |
