| 30 Luger; 85% blue, 90% straw, good bore, good grips, 4.75'' barrel, DWM presentation gun with original blued finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. 1908 frame without grip safety or hold open. Numbered parts are matching. Unmarked wood bottom magazine. Stamped on top of the toggle with the DWM monogram, and on top of the chamber with the American Eagle motif. Crown/BUG proofed. Not Germany export marked. Back of the toggle is stamped with the intertwined script GL. Includes the original storage case with fitted blue felt lined interior. Silver plate on top of lid is engraved, DWM monogram over "In Appreciation / Adolf B. Levinger". Consignor notes state that Mr. Levinger was an administrative assistant to Hans Tauscher, DWM's sales representative to the U.S., Mexico and South America from 1897 thru 1917. The case contains two extra original unmarked wood bottom magazines, unmarked takedown tool, pin punch tool, and a period box, full 50 rounds, Remington UMC ammuntion. The box is opened, in good original condition, ammo is in good condition as well. The pistol is mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 468xx, Catalog Number AE-41 |
