| 9mm Luger; 85% blue, 30% straw, very good bore, good grips, 7 7/8'' barrel, Original LP.08 "Artillery" Luger with original blued finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. Matching numbers except magazine and un-numbered toggle pin. Stanard German WW1 era Imperial proofing and military acceptance markings on right sidfe of receiver and on the barrel. This example is also British proofed on the bottom of the barrel, left side rail and receiver. Finish on the strawed small parts is becoming weak but is even overall. Thinning blued finish on the back grip frame strap and left sideframe. Normal edge and high point holster wear for a WW1 service pistol of this period. There is some minor spotting on a few edges and a small area of visible pitting on the right side of the frame along the border with the grip panel. Ome dark spotting on the safety lever. Overall a very good example of an LP.08 Luger in the price range., s/n 52xxe, Catalog Number AR-16 |
