| 36 Caliber; fair bore, good grips, 7.5'' barrel, 2nd Model, 2nd type variation, No legible serial number on any metal parts. Both plain walnut grip panels are stamped on the backs with a number "2674". The left grip panel has a name carved onto the back "SANFUORDE". Grey metal with light spotting and pitting overall. Brass trigger guard. 6-shot cylinder with no legible engraved scene. Octagon barrel, stamped unevenly on the top "E. WHITNEY / N. HAVEN". No other legible markings or signs of military marks. The right barrel lower angled flat is lightly hand marked with what appears to be "8663-0532AR". The action functions fine. Slight damage to a few of the nipples from dry fire. Antique. |
