| 577/450 Martini; fair bore, good stock, 33.25'' barrel, 1885 dated. Nepalese used. Marked on the left barrel under the rear sight base "N.S/N E P", and with Nepalese markings on the right side of the buttstock. British roundel stamped as well "11/94-ARSENAL FORT WILLIAM-2". Metal finish turned an even patina overall. Oil soaked walnut stock. Some rust around the edges of the buttplate, scattered minor spotting elsewhere on the metal. Upper sling swivel bent. Bore has strong rifling but is dark and rough in the grooves. Action functions well. Antique |
