| 22 LR; 85% blue, excellent bore, good grips, 5'' barrel, Enfield manufactured NO.2 38 caliber revolver dated 1941. Fitted with a Parker Hale 22 conversion cylinder and barrel insert. Original blued finish. Original hard rubber grips have been neatly shaved at the tops to fit the frame cutout as on earlier production. The barrel is not numbered however is a replacement, Enfield made but 1936 dated. Front sight blade is a higher profile replacement. The hammer has been modified with a spur added and the action will operate in double or single action. Shows use and handling. Mechanically fine. Includes a 38 caliber cylinder which does not match the frame. And also includes a snubby 38 caliber barrel and cylinder, the serial numbers match. This barrel was an importers modification back in the 60's when these were imported and turned into snub barrel revolvers to make them more saleable at the time., s/n M15xx |
