| 12 GA; fair bore, fair stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in Birmingham England ca.1890. Damascus barrels with matted rib and bead sight. 2 1/2 inch chambers with IM and IC chokes. Top of barrel rib is marked with retailer name "Ernst Levin, Stockholm". casehardened frame and lockplates, both lockplates marked "BELMONT INTERCHANGEABLE". Fine Englsih style engraving with game scenes. Walnut stock has been refinished long ago with the original hard rubber buttplate. The buttplate has a chop at the heel. Walnut forearm with latch release and horn tip. 14.5 inch LOP. Greener crossbolt and double triggers. The metal has turned rust brown patina overall. Stock is a bit loose. Surface rusting on barrels along top and bottom ribs. The actions function fine and barrel lockup is good. Bores show some pitting., s/n 41xx |
