| 8.15x46mmR; Manufactured in Germany c.early 1890's by F. Dieter of Munchen, his name inlaid in platinum on top of the barrel. Martini type falling block color case hardened action. Blued finish fluted barrel with an 11.25" dovetailed flat. Engraved muzzle. Walnut forend with single wedge. Walnut stock checkered straight grip and color case hardened hooked buttplate. Rear set double triggers. Missing the front sight blade. Key adjustable rear aperture sight, missing any disc. Crown/R proofed on the right upper front corner of the action. Matching serial numbers are located on the front of the action and bottom of the barrel under the forend, and hand written inside the barrel channel on the forend. Bottom of the barrel is stamped with crown/B, U and G proofs. The wood shows quite a bit of handling but no damage. There is some scattered spots of minor pitting on the barrel under the upper edges of the forend. The action functions well. The bores rifling is fairly strong, however is dull with frost throughout.
