| Description: |
| 9x19mm; 98% blue, excellent bore, excellent grips, 4 5/8'' barrel, This pistol is what collectors call the "E-dot" variation, with an E prefix serial number starting with the number 0 xxx. Speculation exists that these pistols were part of a production run for the British Intelligence service, and some speculate they were for a German Police contract. Though the E dot range pistols are enigmatic as to final destination, it is thought that many ended up in Israel at some point. This example has original blued finish and red backed checkered walnut grips. Fixed sights with a serrated ramp front. Internal extractor, ringed serrated hammer. *M inspector marked. Manufacture c.1950's. Matching serial numbers on barrel, slide and frame. The pistol has the standard Belgian proofing and FN markings on the left side of the slide and frame. German importer Frankonia Waffen Wurzberg "FWW" stamp on the left side of the frame. Aside from some very minor handling and sharp edge wear this pistol is in Excellent condition., s/n E019xx |
