| 41 RF; 40% blue, very good bore, excellent grips, 3'' barrel, Manufactured from 1868-1880. It is estimated that only 3,000 of these derringers were ever produced. The rotating barrels have fixed blade front sights and "FRANK WESSON WORCHESTER. MASS. Pat DEC. 15, 1868 JULY 20.1869" (3RD TYPE). Each barrel has this marking stamped so that the top barrel will have the address on the left side. The serial number is stamped on the left side of the brass frame as well as on the inside of each grip panel. Very good with hints of original blue finish on the barrels, and case color on the hammer. The grips are also very good with minimal handling / storage wear., s/n 2xx |
