| Famous French naval cutlass which was copied by many countries including the U.S. Navy. 26 5/8 inch blade, with anchors engraved on both sides. The top edge of the blade is maker marked from Chatellerault with a date which appears to be 1867 (some pitting makes the date hard to read). All steel handle and guard. Over all fair-good, the blade with rust spotting and areas of minor-light pitting and some small nicks on the edge. No scabbard., |
