| 26.2; 85% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 6.1'' barrel, Scarce World War II Erma Erfurt Code Nazi Kampfpistole Flare Pistol. This is a scarce example of a WWII Nazi Kampfpistole that was manufactured by the Erma factory. These early kampf-pistols were based on the original Leuchtpistole (flare pistols) design, only they were intended to be used as both a signaling and a "anti-personal" weapon, as they had a unique rifled barrel that could shoot a 25mm rifle grenade, which were the same type of round as used in the K98 service rifle grenade launchers. They are easily identified as the side of the barrel were stamped with a large capital letter "Z" that was filled with luminous paint. The left side of the frame is stamped ERMA-ERFURT. The barrel and the frame both have the S/N 3959. The left side of the barrel has a large Z stamped on it. The right side of the barrel and frame have Eagle / M insp. proof. It is fitted with the standard wartime plastic grips with a lanyard loop on the butt of the pistol. The black anodized finish has muzzle wear edge and high spot wear with some more thinning on the high edges of the barrel. The grips are very good showing light wear.
