| Very high quality custom knife marked on the handle pommel with a silver or white gold inlay intertwined SD or DS inside a circle. 5 1/8 inch clipped point Damascus blade in excellent condition with a damage free edge. Over all length is approximately 10.25 inches with a steel mounted walnut single finger grooved handle. The handle has silver wire inlay with high quality oak leaf relief carving on the top. Both the guard and pommel have silver inlay leaf with the guard having raised oak leaf adornment. Steel scabbard with silver inlay and oak leaf engraving décor, raised silver oak leaf on each side of the chape. The guide is held with four small sunken screws which are unturned. Ornate ball scabbard tip with a serrated loop. The exact age of this knife is unknown. The quality of workmanship is expert, and the condition is excellent and clean. |
