| 8mm Mauser; good bore, good stock, 17.5'' barrel, Erfurt 1894 manufacture. Matching serial numbers, no legible number on the stock. Original metal finish and walnut stock. "S" stamped on top of the chamber. The lower band has a unit mark "A.R.90.K.11.91" and the upper band has a unit mark "U.R.3.1.85". Standard Imperial proofs. Patina metal with pitting. The receiver has been cleaned. The wood has many dings and a light coat of varnish has been applied. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling and a tight muzzle, showing frost and light corrosion in the grooves. Antique., s/n 48xx |
