| 8mm Mauser; 70% blue, good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Erma manufacture in 1938. Original blue finish, mounted in a laminated wood stock and handguard. Non-matching bolt serial numbered 8127, no visible proofs. Non-matching stock, bands and buttplate which match each other serial number 3779, the stock has sharp eagle/655 proofs and eagle/H Army stamp. Un-nuimbered triggerguard and floorplate. Non-matching magazine follower. Original cleaning rod and leather sling present. No import markings. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling and a tight muzzle, showing some frost and light pitting throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 73xx |
