| Interesting lot of small bring back items, includes: small group of photographs of German troops and equipment-2 88mm guns. Sd.Kfz. 8 with 88 in tow and stuck in mud. German troops with French civilians lined up, one trooper with Luger pistol in hand. Knocked out Russian KV-1 tank. Hitler in front of a crowd smiling at the camera. Photo of a table with Hitlers picture, flower arrangments and a framed eagle/swaz over wreathed 40, no idea who the man in the photo might be? Photo of a Pak 36 AT gun with troopers, early Horch in the background. Photo of a 20mm AA gun emplacement, possibly a Solothurn. Small multi page flip-booklet of Hitler at a speech, first page detached but included. Several photos have German writing on the backs. Small envelope with 7 nazi misc pins, one a Hitler youth pin and a Soviet medal, one interesting winter sports shutzenpatrone having what looks like Santa on skiis holding a crossbow or bow and arrow. Most of these are pre-war dated. Small 9"x7.5" table flag. 9" swaztika penant. Cut swaztika armband. Hitler Youth armband, glue residue from being displayed at some time. Un-issued on grey wool backing Obergefreiter rank patch. Nazi Fremdenpass (foreigner passport) u-used. Nazi Kennkarte (German nationalist) ID booklet, un-used. Nazi Reisepass (German passport), has a couple entrys. Nazi Dienstpass (Service passort), un-used. Nazi pocket Atlas, with a note card inside stating it was taken from a German POW in 1945 with GI's name. Group of 7 un-used misc nazi era information cards for unknown purpose? Group of 5 un-used though a bit tattered nazi postcards with various flags. 1 Hitler photo postcard, un-used. Group of 19 un-used nazi battle scene animated print postcards, some a bit worn. And 3 U.S. WW2 ear TM's, Dutch language guide, French phrase book and Paris and surroundings. Personal favorite in this lot is the little flip book of Hitler doing his yakking at one of his many rallies. |
