| 62 Caliber; good bore, good stock, 6 3/8'' barrel, C. early 1800's flintlock pistol with swamped octagonal barrel finished in the white. Proof stamped "EX" and "E/LG". Stepped brass sight blade. Brass mounted walnut stock with checkered grip, simple engraving on brass parts. Bone tipped wooden ramrod. Wood has age patina and has small handling marks, small chip on the right side edge of the octagonal shaped butt. Inletted and grooved along the back of the grip, possibly missing a metal strap, which has been gone a long time if so. The lock functions well. Surface rusty bore. Antique |
