| 9 x 57mm; 70% blue, good bore, good stock, 22'' barrel, Pre-WW2 manufacture, Mauser 98 military style action, original blue finish, mounted in a checkered walnut stock with classic european side flats, pistol grip and cheekrest. Original serrated bone buttplate. Part octagon barrel with full rib, beaded fixed front sight, fixed rear sight with one standing and two folding leafs. Lever floorplate release. Bolt with checkered spoon handle and checkered safety. Double set triggers. Fine english scroll engraving with cross hatch engraving on top of ring. Top of barrel flat is marked "H. BARELLA GEWEHRFABRIK SUHL". Commercial crown/B, U and G proofing. Used, the metal finish is browning, metal and wood show wear and handling. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 74xx |
