| 54 Cal; good bore, good stock, 33'' barrel, Original browned finish round barrel, walnut stock with brass mounts. Original ramrod with brass tip. Fixed brass blade front sight, dovetailed V notch rear sight. Lock marked on the side with a faintly legible Eagle over double stamped "U.S.", vertically at the rear of the lock "HARPERS/FERRY/1845". V P Eagleshead proofs over the left side of the barrel. No legible cartouche on the stock. No provision for a bayonet.
