THIS IS THE CIVILIAN VERSION OF THE REISING MODEL 65 USMC TRAINING RIFLE MIMICKING THE REISING SUBMACHINEGUN. THERE WAS TWO RUNS OF THESE MANUFACTURED, INITIALLY FROM 1945/47 THEN A SECOND LATER RUN IN 1961. DUE TO THE HIGH SERIAL NUMBER AND POLYMER TRIGGER GUARD WE BELIVE THIS IS FROM THE LATER RUN. THE BLUING IS EVEN THROUGHOUT. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE SMOOTH WALNUT STOCK IS EXCELLENT SHOWING ONLY ONE VISIBLE COMPRESSION DENT IN THE RIGHT FOREARM.
