| 9.3x62mm; 87% blue, very good+ bore, fair stock, 19.75'' barrel, Manufactured in 1955. Original blued finish, mounted in a beechwood 640 rifle stock roughly fitted to the action. Barrel shortened to length with the muzzle threaded, sights removed. Recoil bolt added to the forend with bedding in the holes. Bedding added around the receiver ring area to fill in the gaps from the 98 Mauser 640 action. Notch cut for the swept handle bolt. Notched for the bolt catch on the left side. And the stock altered in the area of the right side mounted tang safety. Steel trigger guard with hinged floorplate. Vented recoil pad fitted to the butt. Matching bolt. Finish spotting on the barrel. Stock has splits around the end of the butt. Mechanically fine. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. Our import mark., s/n 1807xx |
