| 8x57mm; 85% blue, good bore, poor stock, 21.25'' barrel, Manufactured in 1944. Small ring Mauser "strengthened" action. Blued finish. Checkered beechwood stock. Barrel shortened and threaded at the muzzle. Front and rear sights removed. Receiver has been drilled and tapped with Weaver type scope bases installed. Bolt handle modified being turned up with a low scope safety installed. Used, shows some finish wear. The stock has a large crack behind the reciever tang with attempts to glue repair, as well as a glue repaired crack on the front of the grip behind the trigger guard. Recoil pad fitted to the butt. The bore has shine and strong riflling, quite dirty along the grooves. Our import mark., s/n 491xx |
