| 8mm Mauser; very good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1947. FN 98 Mauser military style action. Worn original blue finish, checkered beechwood stock. Ramped fixed front sight, blade loose. Drift adjustable rear sight with replacement high profile blade. Receiver drilled and tapped with Redfield twist off scope bases installed. A Weaver K2.5-1 scope is mounted, duplex reticle with excellent optics. Used, metal and wood showing wear and handling. Missing the trigger guard lock screws. Stock is fitted with a solid rubber recoil pad, the toe carved away. Stock has wood filler plugs on the right side of the tang to fill a cutout for a tang safety. Bolt handle has been modifed for scope clearance and a low scope safety installed. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 513xx |
