| 16 Gauge; fair bore, fair stock, 28 5/8'' barrel, Early model 20 underlever manufactured circa 1890. Original blue finish steel barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in a walnut stock. 2 9/16 inch chambers with Full and Cylinder chokes. The metal finish has worn to patina overall with some scattered spotting. The stock has been sanded at some point, now showing some handling. There is a repaired hairline crack behind the upper tang. The stock is a bit loose and will need attention. The trigger guard tang has been repaired at the first screw and the barrel rib has been heavily resolder above the chambers for about 5.5 inches. The actions work fine and barrel lockup is good. SOLD AS IS for parts or display. Antique., s/n 195xx |
