| 12.7 X 44R; fair bore, good stock, 37'' barrel, Commercial production variation of the military M1867 Rolling Block rifles, manufactured circa 1880s. Original blue finish with surface rust. Walnut stock, lightly sanded, forend held with three spring kept bands. Missing the cleaning rod. The buttstock has two cracks on the right side and the forend is missing a large sliver of wood on the right side at the frame. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling, dirty with rusting. Antique, s/n 138xx |
