| 45-70 Govt; 70% blue, fair bore, poor stock, 26.75'' barrel, Manufactured 1915-1932. Single shot bolt action rifle with original blue finish, walnut stock with checkered grip. Matching bolt, extractor present. Octagon barrel with fixed front sight, two leaf flip rear sight. Used, showing wear and handling. The stock has a crack on the right side running 3.5 inches back from the ejection cutout. A crack and piece of wood beginning to raise behind the receiver tang, and a crack on the left side with two small nails used to repair. The bore has strong rifling, has been greased, showing scattered areas of surface rusting. C&R/FFL, s/n 56xx |
