| .38; 60% blue, fair bore, poor stock, 31'' barrel, ANTIQUE J.HENRY & SON SINGLE SHOT PERCUSSION RIFLE IN POOR/FAIR CONDITION. THE HEAVY OCTAGON BARREL BEARS THE MAKERS NAME "J.HENRY & SON" AS DOES THE LOCK, AND RETAINS 60% OF ITS FINISH TURNED PATINA WITH OXIDATION AT THE BREECH. THE FAIR BORE SHOWS OXIDATION THROUGHOUT. THE STOCK HAS A SEVERE 14" CRACK ON THE LEFT SIDE FROM THE TANG TO THE FOREND CAP, ALONG WITH WOOD MISSING ABOVE THE LOCKPLATE. THE RIFLE IS FITTED WITH A FUNCTIONAL DOUBLE SET TRIGGER. THE FOREARM SECURES TO THE STOCK WITH A SLIDER THAT IS MISSING. |
