| 16 Gauge; 95% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 27.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany during WW2, dated May 1944. Original blue finish barrels, casehardened frame, checkered walnut stock. Wartime commercial eagle/N proofs. 2 9/16 inch chambers with Full chokes. Matted solid rib with bead front sight. Boxlock action with crossbolt and side mounted rotating cocking indicators, extractor, double triggers, latch release forearm, pistol grip stock with cheekrest, 14.25 inch Length of Pull, original plastic buttplate and metal grip cap. Generous original case color on the frame and trigger guard. The blue finish on the barrels shows some light handling marks, there is a tiny ding on the side of the left barrel. There are small traces of varnish finish on the forearms latch and hinge plates and on the trigger guard tang. The hole on the bottom of the stock for the sling swivel has been plugged. Mechanically fine and tight. C&R/FFL, s/n 3408xx |
