| 7.7mm Japanese; 99% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 21.5'' barrel, WWII PARATROOPER TYPE II RIFLE. MANUFACTURED AT NAGOYA ARSENAL. THIS RIFLE HAS BEEN REFINISHED. THE FRONT SIGHT IS AN INVERTED V WITH GUARDS AND THE REAR IS AN ADJUSTABLE PEEP, GRADUATED TO 1500 METERS WITH ANTI-AIRCRAFT WINGS (THE WINGS ARE MISSING). THE TOP OF THE RECEIVER HAS BEEN REFINISHED AND THE CHRYSANTHEMUM AND LETTERING HAS BEEN BUFFED OFF. THE S/N 3898, THE LAST THREE DIGITS #898 ARE ON THE FRONT BARREL BAND, RECEIVER. A SEPARATE THREE DIGITS NUMBER #904 IS ON THE BARREL AND TAKE-DOWN MECHANISM. THE TWO-PIECE BUTTSTOCK HAS BEEN REFINISHED AND HAS VERY FEW HANDLING MARKS. IT HAS SLING SWIVELS.
