| 8x57mm; 50% blue, good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Original blued finish, worn and mottled. Laminated stock and handguard. Stamped on top of the receiver with an eagle/37 proof over the scriptic "CE" code, and date 43. Eagle/Swaz military acceptance marks located on the left side of the barrel and receiver ring. The right receiver ring is stamped with a single eagle/359 proof. The right side of the barrel rear sight sleeve is stamped with two eagle/280 proofs. Scriptic C is visible on the right side of the chamber at the wood line. Numbered parts are all matching except the handguard and buttplate. The buttstock has a laminated wood patch on the bottom where the serial would be stamped. Milled small parts, enclosed matching number upper band. Lower band is an unmarked replacement. Stock recoil lug has an eagle/655 proof. Includes the attached leather sling, which is not marked. Original cleaning rod. Eagle/280 proofs on some small parts. No import markings found. The bore has strong rifling with light corrosion throughout., s/n 45xxm |
