| 38 S&W; 50% blue, fair bore, fair grips, 5'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium by Jules Haufmann & Co. Dated 1895. Double action. Hinged barrel breaks from the bottom for loading and ejection. Chambered for the .380 revolver cartridge (38 S&W, 38 Short). Matching serial number cylinder. Original blue finish has turned dark patina/blue mix. Checkered walnut grips, the right side panel having a piece of wood missing along the back edge. Missing the lanyard ring on the grip butt. Clear markings and proofs. Mechanically fine in double action, if the revolver is supposed to function in single action it is not working, however I'm thinking this is a double action only design. Barrel lockup is loose.
