| 8mm Mauser; 85% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 23.5'' barrel, Mauser manufacture, original blued finish, rare for later manufacture walnut stock with cupped buttplate and handguard. All matching including the stock and handguard, both numbered inside the barrel channel. Marked on top of the receiver ring with an eagle/135 proof, code "byf" and date code "44". The right side of the receiver ring marked with a single eagle/135 proof. Eagle/swaztika military acceptance marks on left side of barrel and receiver ring. Most small parts are not proofed, those that are are eagle/135 proofed. The right side of the stock butt is marked with a single eagle/WaA135 proof, and a small eagle/WaA135 proof is located on the bottom of the stock behind the trigger guard. Original front sight hood and cleaning rod. Original leather sling in good condition, maker code illegible. The metal finish shows some edge wear. No import marks. Mechanically fine.
