| 7.62mm; 70% blue, good bore, fair stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured in 1943 German K 98 Mauser, WWII production, stamped 1943, These rifles were sold by the Russians to the Israeli government in the 1950's and 60's. Barreled in 7.62 The top of the chamber has 7.62 / BYI / the Star of David / 43 The bore is good, but is dark and has a slight bulge 3 inches back from the muzzle.. Barrel measures 24", overall, 43.25". SN 44674 The metal finish is thinning and has edge wear and muzzle wear. The front sight is a ramped beaded blade. And the rear sight is a tangent style graduated to 2000 meters. The walnut stock has been repaired on the left side. The stock is worn with a mild amount of handling marks., s/n 446xx |
