| Original blue finish, mounted in a laminated wood stock and walnut handguard. Non-matching parts. Original leather sling, cleaning rod and front sight hood. Stamped on top of the receiver ring with the Mauser code "byf" and date "44". Eagle/135 proofs. Eagle/swaz military acceptance mark on the left side of the receiver ring. British export "tons" markings on the left side of the barrel chamber. Bolt serial ground on the handle shank. Stamped bands with late war lower band with hole for screw. Stamped trigger guard/floorplate. Stock is not marked except for the non-matching serial number stamped on the bottom of the butt. Blued cupped buttplate stamped with a serial number which matches the stock. Consignor notes state that this rifle is a late war parts assembly gun, but it was likely thrown together from left over parts after the war ended in Germany. Mechanically fine.
